Visit WebsiteSpin-off of the CNRS-Institut Néel (Grenoble) in 2020 to develop and industrialize its technology, MagREEsource technology (MgRS) is based on a process similar to sintering. A reactor powered by hydrogen is responsible for turning end of life sintered magnets into powders suitable for processing bonded magnets or new bulk sintered magnets. The funded pilot will produce 50 to 60 tons of magnets by the end of 2026. The start-up objective is to structure the magnet value chain through recycling. Winner of several awards such as France Relance plan, MagREEsource is preparing its next fundraising for its MagFactory to produce 500 tons.
Visit WebsiteThe National Institute for Materials Physics (NIMP) is located in Bucharest. NIMP has developed as a Center of Excellence for interdisciplinary research in the materials science for R&D cooperation (projects, networks and bilateral agreements) and high-level education (PhD, MSc, training courses) in the fields of solid-state physics and materials research. Much effort has been devoted to the applied research, devices and technologies based on new advanced materials. NIMP is a member of the EIT Raw Materials Initiative, and Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium CERIC-ERIC. In this project, NIMP will fabricate PM by hot-pressing and hot-deformation.
